Repeal 2 Cal. Code Regs. Section 18531.3:

18531.3. Transfers of Funds Into Officeholder Accounts

(a) An individual currently holding elective office may transfer no more than $10,000 per calendar year in funds raised prior to January 1, 1997, into an officeholder account formed pursuant to 85313(a).

(b) Funds transferred subject to subsection (a) are subject to the provisions of Government Code Section 85313.

(c) Any funds transferred before January 1, 1997, into an account formed pursuant to Government Code Section 85313(a) shall be credited to the maximum $10,000 contribution limit to the officeholder account for the calendar year 1997.

NOTE: On January 6, 1998, the federal court in Sacramento enjoined enforcement of Proposition 208. Until further notice, this regulation should not be used since it implements enjoined provisions of Proposition 208.
