Mission of the FPPC Communications Office
The mission of the Communications Office of the Fair Political Practices Commission is to promote transparency in the political process by providing the media and the public with all available information on events, actions, decisions and policies of the Commission.

How We Can Help
- The Communications Office is committed to policies and procedures that offer timely access to public information, help educate the media and the public on the FPPC’s role, and promote the spirit of the Political Reform Act.
- Public records are provided in accordance with the Political Reform Act, the California Public Records Act and any other applicable authority or regulation.
- When and where appropriate, the Communications Office can facilitate subject matter experts as well as Commission leadership for media availability.
