Enforcement Case Resolutions
The FPPC closes approximately 800 - 1,200 cases each year. Hundreds of these cases result in administrative penalties and fines imposed on the violator. To view those cases, search Administrative Fines and Penalties.
Not every case the FPPC closes results in an administrative penalty and fine. There are instances in which, for a variety of factors, the Enforcement Division may choose to close a case with a Warning Letter, Advisory Letter, or No Action Closure Letter. To view these types of letters issued by the FPPC's Enforcement Division, Search Case Resolutions (Without Fine/Penalty).
How to File a Complaint
Anyone who suspects a violation of the Act should file a sworn complaint with the Enforcement Division.
