(Sacramento, CA) - The Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC), California’s governmental ethics and campaign disclosure agency, has launched a redesigned website featuring enhanced search tools that make it easier to locate and review campaign finance and ethics information. Users can filter results by date, time, subject, and other criteria to better navigate disclosure data more efficiently. This update is part of the FPPC’s ongoing work to improve its digital systems and expand public, media, and regulated community access to information about political activity in California.

FPPC Chair Adam E. Silver said, “This website reflects our commitment to ethical government and meaningful transparency. By strengthening our digital tools, we are making campaign finance and ethics information more accessible, more usable, and more actionable for the public.”

The new website features include:

  • An enhanced search system that more clearly organizes campaign finance and ethics information. Users can now filter searches by topic and other criteria, making it easier to locate relevant records and understand the information being reviewed.
  • A restructured sitemap and reorganized top navigation informed by data analysis and user feedback. The site now features seven primary navigation tabs that reflect how users search for information, allowing faster and more intuitive access to campaign finance and ethics resources.
  • A new, dedicated Filing Officers navigation tab that provides filing officers with centralized access to guidance, tools, and resources related to their statutory responsibilities, including public access to disclosure statements, filing compliance, and review of statements for accuracy and completeness.
