Wallace, a veteran attorney with the California Fair Political Practices Commission, has been named acting executive director of the commission effective today, FPPC Chair Ann Ravel announced yesterday. "I am so pleased to let you know that last evening the Commission voted unanimously to appoint John Wallace as the Acting Executive Director. John is perfect for this job. He has a great deal of experience in the Act, he has management and personnel experience, and he is committed to the FPPC," said FPPC Chair Ann Ravel. Wallace, an expert in public agency law and ethics, has over 22 years of experience as an attorney for the State of California. He has served in a variety of capacities at the commission.
