An Interested Persons Meeting will be held at the Commission offices on May 29, 2013. The meeting will address the draft campaign manuals for Major Donor Committees and Independent Expenditure Committees which are posted on the FPPC website. View IP webpage here.

Fresh Design: Both manuals have a new design focused on an electronic format rather than a paper format.

Changes Highlighted: Staff has attempted to highlight significant new changes. However, all text in both manuals was reviewed and updated.

IP Meeting: The IP meeting will focus on policy type suggestions. Please note the information fact sheet that will also be incorporated into the manuals. Staff has spent a lot of time proofreading, however, we suspect there are more grammatical and format edits. In order save time in harmonizing those comments, I ask that you email suggestions to Sarah Olson at Solson@fppc.ca.gov.

Adoption: Depending upon the necessary revisions, the manuals will be presented before the Commission at either its June or August meeting.

All campaign manuals are under review. Staff hopes to have all manuals updated before the 2014 elections. Please do not hesitate to send me your comments at lcassady@fppc.ca.gov or (916) 322-5660.
