Interested Persons Meetings and Comment Periods

Every regulation set forth by the FPPC goes through a process providing the public with an opportunity to comment on the proposed regulation and submit suggestions. Regulatory proposals that have been publically noticed for adoption can be found here

Additionally, FPPC staff may hold interested persons meetings or establish interested persons comment periods to solicit public comments prior to submitting a regulation or proposal to the Commission for approval. Interested Persons Meetings and Comment Periods allow the public an opportunity to review and comment on regulations and proposals during the drafting stages of the proposal. The public can submit comment letters to the FPPC by mail at any time. If an interested persons meeting is held, the public may also make their comments in person.

The FPPC wants you to stay engaged. Subscribe to our Mailing List and receive automatic e-mail notifications of future IP Meetings in your inbox.
